WHAT FILLS MY HOURSI retired from teaching HS Art in Red Oak Schools in 2010.

Retired from coaching girls’ basketball, and girl’s/boy’s tennis in 2018.

Enjoy playing tennis 2-3 times a week. Lucky to have indoor courts at the YMCA in town.

SPOUSE INFORMATION Married Juanita Wade (73) in October of 1973

We started dating in Fall of 69 after Freshman Orientation.

We have 2 daughters, Aubrey and Danielle.

Aubrey is married with 2 daughters and lives in Ankeny. She got her masters from Drake and is CEO of the non-profit Eat Greater Des Moines.

Danielle is married with a son and a daughter. She and her husband live in Jefferson. She has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and works at Green County

MEMORIES OF PHI DELTA TAU:
Fond memories of Phi Delta Tau starting with my first encounter with the Delts, playing intramural football and running into Don Logan numerous times.. Next, I would say Pledging, Hell night and walking back to the house on the railroad tracks.
I lasted about a month in the house, I did not have the ability to study in the tv room with people coming and going like Rick Ryan! Decorating the house at homecoming. listening to Charlie Pride with Terpstra in the sun room and helping my recruits get through Bible class. Big Blue was always home.
