What fills my Hours;
Still work 3 days a week as psychologist and CEO of Lansing Psychological Associates.
Church choir, tennis, a little golf, family activities and my Sweetheart Marcia. And 4 Grand kids.
Family/Children: Marcia and I have been Happily Married for 55 years
-Our Daughter- Raci 53 (married to Paul Guerre).
They have Two kids;
Nick 22 MSU grad and Tessa 18 who will attend Northern Michigan in the fall. Of 2019
-Our Son- Ross 51 (Married to Barb Ransome).
They have Two kids;
Lauren 22 Taylor University Fall ‘18 and will marry July 19 Stefan Fahlen, Jake 18 will attend Indiana Wesleyan in the fall on baseball scholarship.
All reside in Grand Rapids area, about an hour away.
Recent Awards/Honors;
Retired as Full Prof from Michigan State University (69-85) as Director of graduate studies in Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology. Named Distinguished Alumna’s University of Iowa in ‘02. Received MA ‘64, PhD ‘69.
Phi Delta Tau Memories
Pledge period was quite tame til the “Hell Night” experience with jock straps, menthol shaving crepe and those lousy coat hangers!!! Walking the railroad tracks about 4 miles at 3am on a scavenger hunt!! Wow!! We all made it! ALWAYS great discussions and fun times!! Loved it all but pledging not so much!! Jim Engelkes ‘64
