Phi Delta Tau Memories:

Starting this whole project seemed like a lark. But then we did some projects as a new small campus group that were really fun and bonding. The dinosaur float for Tulip Time was one. Niles Vernon got the nod to be Alley Oop and wield the club. There was the false start with the Falstaff sweat shirt and the stern condemnation by Brunhilda Van Roekel, mother superior of the dorm kitchen. She didn’t know from Shakespeare and wasn’t buying that defense of the shirt. My regret is hazing the first class of pledges. Something classier would have been nice, like maybe building a float or something constructive. The close friendships as a result of our club efforts were the big reward
